The Student Union

We in GenusTänkarna (GT) are a student union primarily for students at the Department of Gender Studies but students in all departments are of course welcome to join!Our mission is to create a welcoming, warm and rewarding environment and community for our members during their time at the department, we aim to achieve this through hosting events and other fun things! Some of our events are the Novisch period, pubquiz and sip & knit! If you want to get involved or just join a board meeting, send us an e-mail and we'll make it happen! We were founded during the fall 2021 by some committed students who wanted to create a community within the department.

The Communications Committee

Ebba and Angelica are responsible for our social media, website, and similar platforms where they update about fun things happening in the association. If you email us, it's usually Angelica or Ebba who is on the other side of the screen. If you're interested in helping out, just send us a DM on Instagram or why not an email?

The Event Committee

Ida and Källa are in charge of the event committee, which means they ensure that logistics run smoothly and organize events! Among other things, they take care of arranging pub quizzes, the Christmas sittning, and various other fun activities. If you're interested in helping out, just send an email or a DM on Instagram!

Finance Committee

Emmanuel is our accountant who ensures that all events can be carried out and that all financial aspects are managed correctly and efficiently! Emmanuel handles tasks such as membership fees, payments for sittnings, and keeps full control of the funds!

Chairpersons

Alva and Frida are the chairpersons of the association, with the primary responsibility of conducting board meetings! They have an overall perspective, ensuring tasks are delegated and everything gets done! Additionally, they make sure that the association's work aligns with set goals and ambitions!
